1. What is the design philosophy behind TAYLOR MULLER watches?

Our design language draws from the classic timepieces that passed through our family’s repair shop in Republican-era China, blended with contemporary minimalism. Every watch embodies restrained lines, balanced proportions, and an understated elegance—free from fleeting trends, focused on timeless purity.

2. Where do your watch movements come from?

We source movements from three distinguished origins to offer choice and value:

  • Chinese movements — A tribute to our heritage, crafted with growing precision and reliability.

  • Japanese movements — Renowned for exceptional durability and accuracy.

  • Swiss movements — The gold standard of horological excellence, celebrated for their refinement and prestige.

  • Each movement, regardless of origin, undergoes rigorous in-house testing and fine‑adjustment by our master watchmakers before it leaves our workshop.

3. What types of movements do you offer?

We offer both quartz and mechanical calibres:

  • Quartz — Battery‑powered, ultra‑accurate (±15 seconds per month), low maintenance, and ideal for everyday wear.

  • Mechanical (Automatic & Hand‑wound) — Powered by the wearer’s motion or manual winding, featuring smooth sweeping seconds, traditional craftsmanship, and a visible “heartbeat” through the exhibition case back on select models.

3. What is the water resistance rating?

All TAYLOR MULLER timepieces are rated to 30 metres (3 ATM) . This means they are splash‑resistant and can withstand light rain or accidental water exposure during handwashing. However, they are not suitable for swimming, showering, or submersion. Please avoid operating the crown or pushers when the watch is wet.

4. What makes the dials unique?

Our dials are hand‑assembled by skilled artisans. Indices and hands are meticulously finished, and select models feature enamel coatings or sunburst guilloché patterns. No two dials are exactly alike—each carries subtle, individual character, making your watch truly one of a kind.

5. Do you offer customization?

Yes. We provide case‑back engraving services—you can personalise your watch with a name, special date, or family crest. Additionally, we offer strap and dial colour combinations to create a timepiece that reflects your personal story.

6. How should I care for my TAYLOR MULLER watch?

To keep your watch in optimal condition:

  • Mechanical models — We recommend a full service every 3 to 5 years by a professional watchmaker.

  • Quartz models — Replace the battery when the seconds hand begins to jump in 4‑second intervals.

  • General care — Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after exposure to moisture. Avoid extreme temperatures, strong magnetic fields, and harsh chemicals.

  • Strap care — Leather straps should be kept dry; rubber and metal straps can be gently cleaned with mild soapy water and dried thoroughly.

7. Does the watch come with a warranty?

Yes. Every TAYLOR MULLER timepiece is covered by a 2‑year international warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty covers the movement, hands, and dial, but excludes normal wear and tear, strap damage, or damage caused by improper use.

8. Why choose TAYLOR MULLER?

Because a TAYLOR MULLER watch is more than an instrument—it is a vessel of memory. Born from a century of family craftsmanship and refined for modern life, it marks the moments that truly matter. Whether you choose a quartz for reliability or a mechanical for tradition, you are wearing a story that began in a cobblestone‑lane repair shop—and continues with you.
